TO MAKE A 3% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
SOLUTION Mix 1 fl.oz 35% H2O2 to 11 fl.oz pure water (or Mix 5 fl.oz 7% H2O2 to 7 fl.oz pure water) this makes 12
fl.oz (3/4 pint) of 3% solution (Use distilled water only)
VEGETABLE
SOAK Add 1/4 cup 3% H2O2 to a full sink of cold water. Soak light skinned (like lettuce) 20 minutes, thicker skinned (like cucumbers) 30 minutes. Drain. Dry and refrigerate. Prolongs freshness. If time
is a problem, spray vegetable (and fruits) with a solution of 3%. Let stand for
a few minutes, rinse and dry. Leftover tossed salad: Spray with a solution of
1/2 cup water and 1 Tbs. 3%. Drain, cover and refrigerate.
MARINADE Place meat, fish, or poultry in a casserole (avoiding using aluminum pans). Cover with 3% H2O2. Place loosely covered in refrigerator for 1/2 hours. Rinse and cook.
SPROUTING SEEDS Add 1 oz. of 3% H2O2 to 1 pint of water and soak the seeds overnight. Add
the same amount of H2O2 each time you rinse the seeds. Some people have reported
3/4" sprouts in 24 hours.
KITCHEN
& LAUNDRY To Freshen the Kitchen: Keep
a spray bottle of 3% in the kitchen. Use it to wipe off counter tops and appliances. It
will disinfect and give the kitchen a fresh smell. Works great in the refrigerator
and kid's school lunch boxes.
DISHWASHER Add 2 oz. of 3% H2O2 to your regular washing formula.
MOLD Spray or wash well with 3% H202,
floors, walls and furniture as allowed. Wipe dry with a cloth if too damp. If
problem is real bad in a room, use humidifier with ½ cup of 35% to 2 gallons of water.
LAUNDRY Add 8 oz. of 3% to your wash in place of bleaches. Humidifiers
and Steamers: Mix 1 pint 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon of water.
BATH
Use 20 - 40 oz of 7% hydrogen peroxide in your bath.
Add
6-8 oz (up to 16 oz) of 35% hydrogen peroxide to your bath water.
Relax in it for at least 30 minutes.
SHOWER Keep a spray bottle of 3% H2O2 in the shower. Spray your
body after washing.
FACIAL Use 3% on a cotton ball as a facial freshener after washing.
HOT TUB Start up with using eight ounces
(one cup) 35% H202 per 500 gallons of water.
Maintain with 2-4 ounces of 35% H202 weekly, depending on use and direct sunshine on water.
Use in place of chlorine. May degrade rubber
parts.
FOOT SOAKS Add 1 1/2 oz. 35% H2O2 to gallon and soak.
ATHLETE'S FOOT Soak feet nightly in 3% H2O2.
DOUCHE Add 6 Tbs.
of 3% H2O2 to a quart of distilled water. 6 Tbs. is the maximum to use.
NASAL SPRAY One tablespoon of 3% H202 added to
one cup of pure water.
Spray into nasal passages to relieve congestion.
MOUTHWASH Use 3% H2O2. Add a dash of liquid chlorophyll
for flavoring if desired.
TOOTHPASTE Use baking soda and add enough 3% H2O2 to make a paste. Or
just dip your brush in 3% H2O2 and brush.
DENTURE
SOAK Use 3% H202 in denture container and soak 30 to 60 minutes or overnight.
DEODORANT Saturate
cotton wad with 3% H202 and rub on under arms.
PETS Use 1 oz. 3% H2O2 to 1 qt. in their water bowl.
SKUNK DEODORIZER Mix ¼ cup baking soda,
1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide and 1 teaspoon of Ivory soap. Use this solution to
wash you pet, being careful to keep it out of your pet’s eyes. Rinse with clean water.
HOUSE AND GARDEN PLANTS Put 1 oz. 3%
H2O2 in 1 quart water. (Or add 16 drops of 35% H2O2 to one quart water.) Water
of mist with this solution.
FUNGUS /MOLD
CONTROL FOR ROSES AND VEGETABLES Mix 5 tablespoons baking soda, 5 tablespoons
3% Hydrogen peroxide in one gallon of water.
INSECTICIDE SPRAY Mix 8 oz. white sugar, 4-8 oz. 3% H2O2
in 1 gallon of water.
